So, I've discovered a new way of creating my wallpapers. And I have to say the results are pretty cool. So, I decided to tell you guys how to do this in a journal entry. Just in case you're interested.

1) Open a new photoshop document the size of the wallpaper you want to make.

2) Choose a colour scheme and paint the entire layer with those colours. I recommend using grunge brushes for this. That's what I did the first time.

3) Create a new layer and flood fill it with black

4) Now you need some awesome brushes. I use various swirl brushes and other things that I find in random places. This is actually a good site to look for them.

5) Click the eraser tool and, using your new brushes, cut shapes out of the black layer. The pretty colours from the bottom layer will now show through and make your page look awesome.

6) Now the choice is up to you. Either leave the wallpaper as it is, or paste your favourite character from...something into a new layer with or without a quote.

And this is how I made the new wallpapers I put up. Hope this makes you happy. It made me happy. Now I look like a pro...but I'm actually doing stuff that's insanely easy.... (shh...don't tell my friends, they'll stop making requests)
